Position Description
United Tool, a small CNC job shop, is looking to add an experienced customer focused Plant Manager to the organization. This is a new position so if you like the idea of starting from the ground up, this may be a perfect fit for you!!
As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all of the manufacturing employees on 1st and 2nd shift. You will also ensure that employees follow all quality processes, procedures, and safety standards. Your experience and ideas will allow you the autonomy to make changes for the betterment of the organization.
Skills and qualifications desired:
- 5 years of experience in CNC machining and turning required,
- Troubleshoot programming
- Creating and developing work holding needs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible to an ever-changing diverse work
environment
- Detail oriented
- Proven time management skills and ability to
prioritize
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Positive influence
- Focus on Continuous Improvement culture and
implementation
- BS in related field. (related experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
