Position Description

Position will assist multiple areas of the company directly supporting the manufacturing team and president.

Core responsibilities will be centered around:

· Develop inspection processes

o Create balloon drawings

o Create In-process and FAIR documentation

§ Assign inspection methods

§ Verify gages assigned to part inspection are available for use

· Obtain any that are not available

§ Maintain gage calibration program and processes

· Calibrate gages in house

· Schedule third party calibrations

o Perform FAIR inspections

o Help with In-Process inspections, when needed

· CMM programming (and part inspection)

· Maintain certifications

o ISO 9001:2015

§ Audits

· Internal and External

§ Management Review

§ QMS maintenance

§ Document Control

· Maintain documentation for all processes

o Maintain conformity to CMRT, REACH, PROP 65, RoHS and TSCA

· Lead scrap reporting and reduction initiative

· Monitor and report KPIs

· Provide customers with RMAs (as needed)

o Assign a team, perform and document Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Action activities

§ Create Quality Alerts to document and internally communicate issues

o Hold team accountable to timelines and actions assigned

o Provide updates to customers on rework status

· Employee quality training

o Process, updates, gaging techniques

· Lead Safety program

· Lead Continuous Improvement program

Requirements:
-Exposure to manufacturing/specifically machining, 1-3 years of related experience preferred.

Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per YEAR
